Study Nihon Goshin Aikido(NGA) for 5yrs when I lived in Tampa, FL. I have been currently studying Hombu Aikido for about a year now here in Oakland, CA. NGA is smaller cicrles, strikes, throws, joint locks, and pressure points. Even though people may consider NGA to be hard stlye, it's varity of techniques allows one to be aggressive towards an attacker.. which may be approriate or one may be more passive towards thier attacker, you may apply technique which may not cause any injury towards your attacker. In my Hombu stlye it seems to be alot more passive... But then again it all depend on your instructor...
