  1. Just two weeks out of training and things start to decline. First to go is timing, hence you feeling rusty and taking hits during sparring. After this, fitness, flexibilty, technique (skill) and eventually strength decline as well. The only answer is to train more often.. sorry to be blunt, but thats how it works! Stuart
  2. I do, the palm pressing block as a locking technique, just prior to the angle punch as a choke, uses the low stance as an aid to push down on the oppoent. Stuart
  3. Whether a school is independant or not is not an indication of what they teach, IMO, many ITF schools have watered down the syllabus! Bottom line is.. if you enjoy it and its beneficial to what you want out of martial arts, thats cool.. if it feels wrong.. then it probibly is! Stuart Ps. I`m independant... hence my first sentence!!
