GU really has a great people evaluating the videos for promotion to blue belt. They will not pass anybody until they will see that someone is ready to have a blue belt. It really is legit. one of the guys who passed online. What can you say guys??Hope somebody interested in our area though.

Yes, it really is a big question.. some of the techniques in kata are for grappling. Why not consider jiu jitsu, since there are no kata.. there's no need of bunkai.. and in jiu-jitsu black belts are teaching the techniques directly. So which one?? your take guys..

do the complete body workout including cardio.. it will all improve your stances, power and stamina.. in doing all your kata and techniques.

Its ok bro.. I started 28 about a year and a half ago.. everything is good and exciting. i have a sempai, he's 54 and still a brown belt..

So, its like a formality after all.. The problem in some other dojo's are parents expecting their young ones to be included in the testing every two or three months. That's the difficult part all the Sensei are facing today. What's your take guys??

Does your dojo failed any student on a particular examination?? I just got promoted for green (5th kyu), until now i don't see anybody failed on the kyu test.

I definetely agree with you, shorin4life. Man, thats what im thinking.. i dunno how i will take the punches and kicking for 3 minutes.. Its a challenge but i dunno what kind of techniques i can get on that barrage of punches, they dont even block. But much respect to kyokushin. I'd like to try it out also.
