Iron Arahat Posted November 8, 2002 Share Posted November 8, 2002 I was looking at these video cameras http://shop.viosport.com while they have been used for other sports, I was wondering if it would be possible or practical to attach it to head gear during sparring...one to analyise your fights, from both an attackers and a defenders first person. You are with that thing on your head while sparring and you can watch frame by frame what happend to you after you get caught with that high roundhouse kick or that vicious right Cross.. You can watch the roof and the faces of your sensei and classmates trying to bring you from the other side..and see how everyone cares about you. lol Now serious, i think it could be interesting. but i'll be afraid someone broke it with a strikes. You boyz do shop for some unusual gadgets! I'm with submission as far as the "comfort" issue ... I just about manage with all the gear we are required to wear to move about effortlessly, but just for giggles it would be pretty neat to view some playbacks! I'm thinking that watching yourself fight from an opponents perspective may give you some insight to weaknesses, and openings you are leaving.
